Every good Christian church loves to worship and is devoted to the preaching of the Word of God. Those are the basics. These are the distinctive features of worshiping with NorthGate that may help you enjoy one of our services more.

Last about 2 – 2.5 hours.
We spend lots of time worshiping, giving and preaching/ministering. We’re not in a rush, but we won’t waste your time either. We’ve learned that food will be there whenever we get out.
Are casual in dress.
Come as you are. Lots of folks wear shorts, jeans and a few may even sport some casual attire. The only time you will see most of our folks in a suit/tie is at a wedding or funeral.
Are energetic and interactive.
We’re not afraid to dance, jump, sing and shout and half of our ministry times end up with people on the floor. Lots of different folks share testimonies, words and messages and we regularly pray as a church for important needs.
Are an important part of our spiritual life, but not the Apex of our weekly walk.
Sunday morning services are very important, but they are not the only expression of our Christianity. In fact, the goal of our Sunday morning gatherings is to motivate, inspire and encourage our church to go out there and live for God the other 166 hours a week that they aren’t in service!

Is loud, wild and uninhibited.
We crank the volume up so you can’t hear your voice and turn down the lights so you can’t see your neighbor. We’re not watching the clock either; if it’s particularly anointed, we’ll do nothing BUT worship for the entire service.
Is a family affair.
We worship together as families. One of the first things that people notice is all the kids playing, dancing and worshiping together with moms, dads, teens, singles, grandmas and grandpas. It’s quite a site and quite an experience.
Are full of the truth, spoken in love.
No platitudes and pretty speeches given here! We stick to the Bible and we preach it passionately. The average message goes about 1 hour in length. You won’t be bored.
Said truth sometimes hurts, but sets you free.
We’re not afraid of being a little confrontational in what we preach. This confrontation of light/darkness and truth/lies can sometimes be a little intense. But at the end of the day, you walk away FREE if you do life God’s way.

Are very spiritual, but not very religious.
Our folks are very serious about the Gospel and many live sacrificial lives laid down in love for others and walk in the power of God, but they are real folks! We’re not trying to “act” like Christians, we “are” Christians! The supernatural is just that, “super-natural”.
Love to see the miraculous.
Miracles are normal. It’s become a regular occurrence to see the power of God demonstrated during the lives of everyday people in our church. Get ready to hear some awesome testimonies of what God is doing!
Love the Presence of God.
If God is moving on our folks, they won’t stop to “have church”. We encourage them to find a piece of carpet and just have an encounter! Those of us that can get up, do so and then enjoy the word.
